Building a Home for the Stories of America's Greatest Heroes.

The Medal of Honor is America's most prestigious award for valor in combat only bestowed to roughly 3,500 courageous service members. The National Medal of Honor Museum aims to preserve the stories behind the medal and its recipients in hopes that its visitors will come to understand the meaning and price of freedom—and appreciate the virtue of putting service above self.

Throughout the course of my internship with the museum, I had the opportunity to further develop their branding. I helped design and curate a wide selection of graphics from social media content to stadium graphics. The main focus was on maintaining a tone of respect and honor that is more than deserved for this nation's greatest heroes. The design behind the museum aims to share these stories of valor to inspire people and awaken the heroes within themselves.

“We want people to see the museum’s design and ask, ‘How in the world did they do this?’...And our hope is when they hear the stories of the Medal of Honor recipients in the museum, they’ll walk out and ask ‘How in the world did they do that?”

- Charlotte Jones, Board Chairman & VP of the Dallas Cowboys

The museum will serve as the only national institution dedicated to the stories, impact, and legacy of the service members who went on to become Medal of Honor recipients. The branding and advertising behind it lives to tell their story.

As the museum grew their network of partners, we had the opportunity to advertise through multiple mediums. One of which being the Dallas Cowboys home stadium advertise during the Salute to Service game.

Website developed and managed by Snapshot.

As the museum marched closer to breaking ground in 2022,  we worked with the team at Snapshot to create a website and digital experience that unified the mission under the brand's guidelines.

Neither a war memorial nor a military museum, the National Medal of Honor Museum is a humbling endeavor that will take visitors on a narrative journey through the life stories of ordinary people who made extraordinary choices above and beyond the call of duty.
